ARDO (African Releif and Development Organisation)
African Releif and Development Organisation (ARDO) was set up in january 2007 by a group of students, its a charitable organisation which operates across africa whose aim is to strive to help the poor and less disadvantaged people and enable them to overcome the suffering they endure due to poverty and lack of lifes basic needs.
As an organisation we focus upon community develpment through dedicated programmes which help alleviate poverty, illiteracy, poor health conditions and economic deprivation.
ARDO’s Aims are clear and simple, we want to empower under privilaged communities by using whats known as a three-way approcah which is to provide health, education and vocational training for income generation
By following structured projects we aim to improve the living standards of the poor people and enable them to stand on their own feet without the help any releif organisation in the future.
The members of ARDO and all our esteemed volunteers have not only a common Constitution, but also a common sheet anchor of human values which is our driving force and what keeps us at work. We are all striving, despite the challenges, towards the economic uplift and general welfare of our depressed and marginalized sectors of society
